I spent nearly $2000.00 on a complete small studio setup including kiln, torch, regulators, etc. When testing the equipment for the first time, the propane regulator was leaking. With regulator in the off position, the psi in the line would slowly rise. After contacting them about it, they told me they would either refund my money or have a new regulator out to me within a day. After shipping their regulator back, they proceeded to tell me that the regulator was working fine. Doug, the person whom was my customer service representative, was an arrogant ass hole. After talking on the phone with him for some time, I demanded to talk to his boss. From that point on, I haven't heard back from neither a manager or Doug. I have never been treated this poorly by a customer service representative in my life, and I will be taking legal action against this company for the money they still haven't returned to me. In my opinion they are hands down the worst company I have ever done business with.
I was working in Paradise and ran across this shop while looking for an address that I had to visit near it. I parked in the lot in back. There were several hand made signs on other spots that said parking for stain glass only. I parked in one without the signs. I very angry woman came out of the business and asked what I was doing. I told her I was looking for an address and then was going to come in. She told me I could not park there. There was only one car parked and at least 6 open spots. I left and will never explore this very unfriendly business. I left telling her I'm sorry. WOW!!!
Pretty much everything I use came from sundance. I got a great deal on a kiln locally, but my tools, glass, torch, regulators, etc. all came from sundance. I've called with dumb questions and i've had to return products, every time I've dealt with them they were a pleasure. Very cool, laid back people.
Ordered a kiln from Sundance but really didn't know what I was ordering. The owner called me and asked me a few questions about my hobby. He determined that the kiln I needed was much cheaper than the one I had ordered online. He was helpful, pleasant and VERY polite. I was impressed with the integrity of the company! Anyone else would have just shipped me the expensive kiln. Nice customer service.
Went to a two day class that costed hundreds of $, and accidentally barely burned myself once. I quietly made a face that got only the owner's (David Hopper's) attention, and immediately told me to go outside for awhile to "calm down." I was perfectly calm to begin with but he kicked me out anyway. I missed most of the class so he offered to let me take notes to make up for the HOURS he had forced me out for no real reason. I learned nothing and paid for it.
