Great little coin shop with a personable owner
They have just about everything a coin collector might need.
The only reason this place gets two stars is because they have a pretty good selection. The owner really couldn't care less when I walked in the door. I was the only one there so when I asked to see a couple coins out of the case he got them for me, but he made it seem like I was inconveniencing him in some way. He was just sitting there listening to Donald Trump give a speech when I walked in, so it's not like he was doing anything super important. I tried to strike up a conversation with him and let him know that I make jewelry from coins. He seemed not only disinterested, but also mad that I brought this up to him. I still bought two coins, (which will shortly be made into jewelry) and left. Overall the shop itself is very nice, (save for the Trump signs he had posted up), but the customer service was just atrocious. It felt like the kind of place that you'd only really be welcome if you're an older white gentleman. I still might go back if I need a certain coin right away for a client, but I'd much rather go to the pawn shop down the street and try my luck there. At least they have some manners.
