dwayne is my favorite person to see and is always a delight to do business with. grabbed gold gear throughout the years, and was happy to have dwayne help me put together a custom dive suit last week. my research showed different sizes and dwayne corrected all sizes without hesistation and suited me like the pro he is. love good shopkeeps, come in and visit.
They are extremely knowledgeable and were very professional too.
Additionally they don't just teach diving- they are also travel agents that specialize in dive trips!
After certifying we decided to take them up on an all-inclusive dive trip to Honduras. It was organized as a group adventure, while we could have stayed by ourselves- we found it comforting to be with more experienced folks- not to mention they were all a lot of fun to hang out with!
Its really the only place on the Ridge to get your gold mining supplies other than at the surplus store. Very friendly and helpful!!

This ma & pa dive shop is AMAZING. My wife & I wanted to get certified, we did a lot of research and though we live in Chico- decided Dwayne & Joyce (the husband & wife owners) were the way to go. Good decision! We certified in June 2017- Dwayne has a very relaxed, yet fun teaching style that made it easy to learn. He makes sure you know what you are doing, and when you finally do get in the water- makes sure that you are not only competent, but comfortable. He clearly wants you to have fun with this sport.
I bought prospecting supplies, yes, in a dive center, and the selection is a good one too. Found out he teaches diving too, now that's also on my bucket list.
