Breakfast was just OK.
A really nice place to stay. Spacious rooms, lovely landscaping and a beautiful pool and spa. It was about 105 deg outside, but our room was nice and cool. Ask for Room 36.
I gave Ponderosa Gardens five stars because it is an excellently maintained large older Motel. I had about a month long stay at Ponderosa Gardens as my kitchen and bath were being repaired and remodeled, and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. It has excellent maid service and I never wanted for anything. I had clean, white fluffy towels stocked daily along with coffee, tea, water and hair products. The motel has excellent customer service and the staff is very friendly. Any request was quickly tended too without any problems. The pool area is immaculately kept and the grounds are beautiful. It is only one story and the noise level is pretty much none at all. So it is quiet and the flat screen tv had plenty of channels. I am very pkeased and highly recommend to anyone visiting Paradise,
There was a problem with room and the staff was quick to get us moved. The new room had people coming in just before Thanksgiving and we would have to move back to original room to finish our stay but the gal at the desk worked out a change. We are so pleased with the staff, room and service, we would gladly stay here again.
Setting was nice, breakfast was acceptable and normal, room nothing special but they charged me another $10 on top of what I booked the room for. Said they ran out of Queen beds but it sure looked like there were a lot of open rooms from the lack of cars. So watch out for that possible scam.
We were in Paradise, CA 2 weeks ago due to my husband's mother passed away. We stayed at Ponderosa Garden Motel and loved it. The staff is amazing - so helpful and friendly. The rooms were not fancy but very clean and well kept. Each room has its own little patio with a view of the wonderful landscaping on the grounds. We were very satisfied and will go there again. Wonderful little motel!
