There was no offering of another night or discount or another time to encourage my return visit. Though Paradise, California is a beautiful town I shall never again attempt to stay there if THIS motel is my only option.
The manger made sure the room was to our liking and made sure we knew where everything was. I would stay again.
My experience was poor in a word. I have no review on the rooms as I didn't get to stay in one this weekend. Though I made reservations on their website, they claim to have no record of my reservation even though I had the confirmation of the reservation at hand to prove it. Number and all.
It was a little bit run down. We found a couple bugs in the room and the facility as a whole wasn't great. Ponderosa (just down the street) was nicer in just about every way.
We stay here every time we come to town and love it. The gentleman that runs the place is so incredibly nice. The rooms are clean and nice. The beds are so comfortable, I have back problems and I slept so well. I definitely recommend this cute little hotel if you're staying in paradise, CA.
Of course this was a time when there are NO other rooms available in the surrounding area at all so I could not stay the night.
Owner very nice and fixed our leaky toilet right away. Price was good and not crowded. Only thing I would say that could be better is shampooing carpets and better cleaning of Room. Overall we will stay here again over the Ponderosa.
