One of the best Parks in Paradise, California. Plenty of parking, playground areas for the kids, grass and pin Nik tables and barbeques. Beautiful views, pleacent sight seeing trails, ponds, water falls. During migration seasons, Hummingbirds, Monarchs and a covered area for parties. Restrooms...a great Park for spending with the kids, family, dogs and friends.
It has a field, great updated park play structures, hiking trails, creeks, trees, and mountain side views. This is where my current boyfriend asked me to date him, about 2 years ago. There was a beautiful wedding here too about 4 years ago for my aunt. I love this park. Oh I forgot to mention they have a electric rc car course by the swings that is open to the public.
Amazing park that's fun for the whole family. Awesome playground for the kids, biggest in town. Big grass areas for soccer etc. For the more adventurous, check out the two little hikes at the back of the park. Left takes you to the grotto and mini waterfall. Right takes you to the clearing on the bluff over the canyon. Gorgeous view of Chico area. Great place for picnics and birthday parties.
Cleaning and maintenance leave much to be desired, however. Restrooms are consistently dirty, and despite rules regarding dogs the leash rule is rarely if ever enforced (and none of the trash cans have dog waste bags). Falling tree limbs over picnic areas and walkways are a real and unaddressed hazard.
One of the most beautiful parks I've visited. Lovely trails, great vistas, and nice landscaping near large gazebos. It's def a local favorite in Paradise.
A very nice park. Large lawns, lots of nice trees, good trail in the back, nice gardens and gazebos. Two bathrooms, two playgrounds, a dog trail, several picnic areas (with grills) and a large group area. Even has an RC truck course.
