Always have to wait in line forever. The last time I was there my check out lady (older woman) was VERY rude. She made every one behind me leave so she could do a price check. She helped another checker while I did my own price check. I got back before she even called for the price check. I still didn't the 30% off as marked.
y mom was in the Paradise, CA. Location, trying to claim a money order at western union. The woman who was assisting her was EXTREMELY rude, even combative to the point that when my mom called me, I could hear the woman raising her voice, almost yelling at my mom! She said that we needed to adjust the setup of the money order for her to be able to process it. When my husband asked to speak to her over the phone to walk through how to correct the issue, she stated that she was not going to walk him through hoe to help and that she didn't know how to process the "money in minutes" option so we'd have to go to our local branch to send the money (keeping in mind, we've already processed the money order at this point). When we asked to speak to the supervisor, the supervisor refused to come to the phone. The clerk (original woman) then told my mom she needed to go to Safeway to process her request since she wouldn't help her. I called back to speak to the supervisor directly, was put on hold doe over 10 minutes when the line disconnected. When I called back, I was put on hold for another 10 minutes before hanging up. Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service.
My husband purchased perfume for me but accidentally got the wrong one. When I went to return the item they said since it was past 30 days they couldn't take it back. Now, I understand company policy being the manager of a retail store in Chico but the perfume was never opened, brand new in the box. The box was not dented or dirty. It was an item that only had to be placed back on the shelf and sold. I asked to see a manager to get the item returned as I thought Kmart would choose their customers over company policy. Unfortunately Kmart does not care about their customers and therefore they have lost my business. I recommend that everyone choose somewhere else to shop as this is not an establishement that cares about you're business.
I'll keep this review short...This Kmart sucks! Never has what I need, always looks trashy. Employees always seem to be put out to help you with anything. Please Kmart, leave our town!
